Project Description
AEGIS Ashore Missile Defense System
Redzikowo–Poland project is the third phase of European Phased Adaptive
Approach. The project consists of the necessary facilities to support an
operational Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System (AAMDS) in Redzikowo, Poland.
These facilities include a two-story combined barracks/dining facility
including morale welfare space, administration space, and recreation functions,
a public works facility, a general-purpose warehouse, an access control
facility, underground utilities including all site storm drainage system, site
electrical and communication works, water, sewer and heating hot water
infrastructural works. Project also included flatwork paving, walks, curbs, and
gutters; all work associated with aggregate, asphalt, interlock and concrete
paving including but not limited to main access road, vehicle inspection and
project roads, parking lots, emergency access road, sidewalks, multi-purpose
facility patio, other pavements, curbs and gutters.
